Why we started
Too often, event coffee is an afterthought — rushed, generic, and forgotten before the night is over. Burnt milk, over-extracted espresso, a van that packs up before the speeches are done. We've seen it at weddings where the catering budget ran to thousands, and at corporate events where every detail was considered except what was in the cup.
We started The Arc because we believed it could be something people actually talk about. That the coffee at your event could be the thing guests mention on the way home — a genuine moment of quality in the middle of a busy day, not just something to get through the morning.
We keep our setup refined, our ingredients considered, and our service genuine. The result is a coffee experience that fits seamlessly into your event and leaves a lasting impression — on your guests, and on how they think about you as a host.

Our coffee
Considered ingredients. Every time.
Our espresso blend is sourced from Blackboard Coffee Roasters — one of Australia's most respected independent roasters — chosen specifically for its consistency, depth, and how it performs under event conditions. It dials in cleanly, holds up across high-volume service, and makes a genuinely excellent flat white from the first cup to the last.
Our milk range includes full cream, Oatly oat, and Milklab almond — not because they're trendy, but because they're the best available and they make better drinks. Oatly in particular steams beautifully and carries a significantly lower environmental footprint than dairy, which is part of why it's our standard rather than an afterthought add-on.
Every item on our menu earns its place. Nothing is there for novelty, nothing is filler. If we serve it, it's because it's genuinely excellent and we're proud to put it in front of your guests.
Our setup
Professional equipment. Clean presentation.
We run a La Marzocco espresso machine — the industry gold standard, found in the best cafés in the country. Our cart is fully self-contained with onboard water and waste management.
Power point and a flat surface is all we need. We handle the rest.

How pricing works
What goes into your quote
Every event is a little different, which is why we tailor each quote to your specific needs. Here's what we take into account when putting together a price for you.
Factor 01
Event size
Your estimated guest count determines how many baristas and carts are needed to keep service flowing smoothly without a queue.
Factor 02
Service duration
Longer bookings mean more time to serve more drinks. Duration is one of the key inputs in calculating your flat-rate quote.
Factor 03
Travel distance
We're based in the Mary Valley and serve across SEQ. Events further afield may include a travel fee — we'll always be upfront about this in your quote.
Starting package
One hour of service, one barista
Our entry-level package is suitable for smaller gatherings of around 50 guests. Everything is included — equipment, setup, pack-down, and unlimited drinks for the duration.
